ABOUT ME

Dr. Marion Dumont, RN PhD

My studies in the sciences, philosophy, and religion have given me a broad understanding of the human experience, deepening both my empathy and insight. This interdisciplinary perspective inspires my commitment to advocating for a holistic approach to well-being that honors the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. My work is grounded in both practical application and lived experience. The wisdom, knowledge, and inspiration I share have emerged through my own journey of healing, growth, and personal transformation, offering an authentic foundation for supporting others on their path.

As a nurse with more than twenty years of diverse clinical experience, I embrace an integrative approach to well-being that values traditional, allopathic, energetic, nutritional, and plant-based medicine. Place, dreams, arts & crafts, and ancestral work each play an essential role, offering pathways to deeper connection, meaning, and transformation.

ABOUT THE BEAR’S WAY

Bear

Bear is a threshold keeper. The more I learn about bear in culture and myth the more amazed I become at the role this animal has played in human history and culture. Once upon a time bear was present to guide us across both inner and outer thresholds. In circumpolar, Northeast Asia, North American and European cultures bear is seen as a threshold being, a psychopomp and soul guide with the ability to cross the boundaries of the physical world into the underworld and the celestial worlds.  The Bear’s Way Calendar Year is a celebration of our connection with the Earth and one another through space and time. It is a journey and bear is our guide.
